 To give away money is an easy matter and in any man's power. But to decide to whom to give it and how large and when, and for what purpose and how, is neither in every man power nor an easy matter.
GRANTMAKING | Grant Schedule YAC and the Huron County Community Foundation each have grant rounds. Please download the one page application form at left. Feel free to contact our office to see if your organization or project qualifies for funding. The Huron County Community Foundation grantmaking committee is accepting applications in the summer of 2013, with decisions announced by September. YAC is now accepting grant applications through March 15, 2013 for their spring 2013 grant round. Those with 501 (c) (3) status, or groups that fall under another organization with that classification, are considered for grants awards. Routine operating expenses, capital equipment, vehicles, endowment campaigns, expenses normally covered by municipal government, and debt obligations are not grant fundable. |
